Programs

Trinity Lutheran offers high quality care and learning experiences for infants starting at six weeks, through children age five years. Our campus has four classrooms for children ages 2, 3 and 4 and a prekindergarten class.

Each class is set up to focus on the needs of each age group with developmentally appropriate toys and activities and low teacher to child ratios. Our pre-kindergarten class helps to prepare the children for kindergarten in all areas of development.

Infants & Toddlers

Infants and Toddlers Program6 weeks through twenty-four months

The Trinity Lutheran Infant and Toddler room offers high quality, ‘home like’ care for children ages six weeks to twenty-four months. We have low teacher to child ratios and our caregivers are committed to maintaining your child’s safety, well being and security, Focus is also put on helping to develop each child as a whole and communicating and sharing their experiences with their families.

Faith-Based Values
Through their faith, Trinity Lutheran teachers know that the infants and toddlers in their care, are all children of God and each child is valued as a gift from God. Even the smallest infants hear stories from the Bible, Christian songs and prayers each day and attend Chapel once a week.

Safe, Secure & Nurturing Environment
Teachers give all children the care and respect they deserve by spending time on the floor with them, holding, sitting with them and interacting face-to-face in an engaging and meaningful way.

Swings, walkers and infant seats are never used. Children are not restrained and are free to explore, discover and to have opportunity to begin choosing things on their own in the safe surroundings of the classroom and outdoor play area.

Preschool

Preschool Program | Trinity LutheranAges 2 years through 5 years
At Trinity Lutheran Preschool it is our goal to nurture children’s growth and development by providing a high quality program through developmentally appropriate practices. We strive to teach the whole child approach as we realize learning is done in many ways.

We understand and respect the need for self-directed play while preparing children for kindergarten, therefore, Trinity Lutheran Preschool promotes the “Handwriting Without Tears” program for writing and literacy experiences.
The staff have designed curriculum and materials to help children successfully master prekindergarten skills and meet developmental benchmarks which result in children being well prepared for kindergarten.

Faith-Based Values
As a Lutheran preschool, we seek to nurture children and their families in the loving spirit of Jesus Christ. The basis of all our learning experiences is that Jesus is our Lord and friend. We praise Him and talk to Him in prayer. In this same spirit, we welcome all children and families, regardless of race, nationality, or creed.
In the classroom children hear Bible stories, sings songs of praise and pray every day. All classes attend the weekly chapel service with their teachers, peers and the students of Good Shepherd Lutheran School.

Safe, Secure & Nurturing Environment
Teachers give all children the care and respect they deserve during the time children are in their care. Whether it be a quick hug, verbal praise or a story on the lap of a teacher, care, respect and nurturing is part of each child’s day at Trinity!

In order to enter the campus there is a security gate which cannot be opened unless parents/families have a code.  Emergency drills are conducted monthly and each child has an emergency kit on hand.
